Just dance!

If one man can start a dance party on a train full of strangers, what’s stopping us from striking up a friendly conversation?

Peter Sharp single-handedly started a dance party on a train in Perth, Australia in order to inspire strangers to stop being afraid to interact with each other and see the love and life that surrounds us every single day.

“It might just seem like a dance on a train, but there’s actually a much deeper message behind what’s gonna happen… it’s gonna mark a turning point from fear-based public spaces to love-based public spaces,” Sharp says in his explanatory YouTube video. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed it, but on the train it’s like this crazy void in space and time where people just disconnect from life and the opportunities that are just sitting right next to them.”

We’re pretty sure that if you watch this video, you can’t help but smile–and be inspired to connect with those around you!

We applaud Peter’s efforts to bring happiness and love to the world and to inspire people with stories of  how ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

What little things can you do today to bring more love into the world?

A Daddy-Daughter Moment To Treasure

We have a great viral video find that we couldn’t resist sharing with you!

This four year-old was scared of fireworks outside, so her dad suggested that they sing a song together to keep her mind off of the loud noises. While Daddy plays the banjo (and does an amazing trumpet impression during the solo!), his precious daughter steals the spotlight as she belts out “Tonight You Belong To Me.”

It’s hard to resist this daddy-daughter duo–she is truly a little ray of sunshine! We’re pretty sure it could not only make us forget scary noises outside, but pretty much anything else on our minds–even if just for the few minutes it takes to watch their duet.

We hope you enjoyed this little daily dose of happiness! What viral video always makes you smile? Share it in the comments–we’d love to hear from you!

A Mother’s Last Dance

When a mother finds out she is having a son, one of the future events she may dream of is the joy of dancing with her baby boy at his wedding. Mary Ann Manning had that chance taken away from her in 2010 when her son Kyle passed away at the young age of 23. According to TODAY, soon afterwards Mary Ann’s breast cancer returned after almost a decade in remission and was diagnosed as Stage 4.

With her health continuing to fail, Mary Ann’s dying wish was to make it to her son Ryan’s wedding to share that special mother-son dance. Despite suffering another stroke a day before the wedding, she still managed to be there and mustered the strength to make this dance happen. And the result is one of the most beautiful, touching moments we’ve seen caught on video.

The groom’s sister, Kristie, shared on the YouTube page, “Mary Ann Manning lost her battle with breast cancer just 3 days after this dance. She held on with all her might to give her son this last gift. It’s really the epitome of a mother’s love. She now joins her other baby boy, who passed 4 years ago, in heaven.”

We wish this brave and beautiful family all of the love and healing thoughts in the world.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations may be made in Mary Ann’s name to Hope Hospice or Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation.
