Let's make a promise this holiday season... Let's make it a promise to try every day to touch someone's life in our own special way, to be kind to each other and cherish what's real- our family, our friends, and the love that we feel. Let's take a close look deep within our own hearts and stop any prejudice right where it starts. Let's keep candles burning and proud flags unfurled, let's pray for our nation, and let's pray for our world.
Americans! Listen up! I want YOU to have a Happy Fourth of July. That's a request directly from your Uncle Sam. Go out and romp and frolic. Or if you're too tired, you can simply cavort. Or repose yourself upon the reclining object of your choosing. And don't forget to fire up that grill. Throw a horseshoe. Have a barbeque. Throw a horseshoe at the barbeque. I don't care. Just have fun. Indulge in your cold beverage of preference. And, by all means, enjoy some fireworks. Yes, Americans, I want YOU to celebrate Independence Day. Because without Independence Day, we'd all be drinking tea and eating crumpets and fish and chips like a bunch of Queen-lovin' pudding-slurpers! That's right. You heard me. Now get out there and have a Happy Fourth of July!
There once was a little angel named Ariel. She was small and inexperienced and not so majestic as the many other angels around her. And so when she was asked one day by God to perform a very important task, she became afraid and quite worried that she would not be able to do it. But God reassured her and told her not to be sad. He said that he would never ask her to do anything she wasnt capable of doing. And he handed Ariel a small golden harp. Still very nervous, but determined to make God proud of her, Ariel started on her very important mission. Finally, she came to the land where God had instructed her to go, and she sought out the tiny manger. As she knelt before the baby, suddenly she was filled with such joy and love that all of her fears and worries melted away. And she began to play her golden harp And she brought the tidings of great joy that on this day is born Christ the Lord. Hark! The herald angels sing, "Glory to the newborn King!

Easter is a time of rebirth, when hope can be seen in the wings of a butterfly -- renewal, when the grey of winter comes alive with the newness of spring -- and rejoicing, when all of nature seems to celebrate the wonder of life itself. Wishing you a wonderful Easter
Gray hair -- and lots of wrinkled skin that's sagging, Just when in the world did this begin? I swear! If I'm not sleeping, then I'm dragging! This phase of life will do me in! Goodness, gracious! Why am I so tired? All the aches and pains that I've acquired Seem to sap my very will -- I need a nap -- I need a pill! Hand me down my shawl, 'cause I'm afraid I've caught a chill. Holy moly! Why are we so tired? Seems our lifetime battery's expired. As sure as ocean leads to shore, As sure as dinnertime's at 4! We'll need a second wind before we rest FOR EVER-MORE! Hope your birthday is a classic!
