Somewhere in the flurry of the season may we find TIME TO DREAM about that blessed holy night THAT CHANGED THE WORLD... TIME TO REMEMBER the truths he taught and everything HE HAD DONE FOR US. TIME TO GIVE THANKS with all our hearts THAT GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have eternal life." JOHN 3:16 Thinking special thoughts of you and warmly wishing you quiet moments to reflect on all the ways GOD HAS BLESSED YOUR LIFE. Merry Christmas
Easter is a special time each year... when we remember the familiar faces, places, and things we hold most dear... Giving thanks for the love and laughter that keep us all together.... living under one roof that extends for miles and miles. Thinking of you with love on Easter.
Across the Miles at Christmastime From home to home, from heart to heart, from one place to another, The warmth and joy of Christmas brings us closer to each other. So though you may be miles away, and missed so very much, Warm thoughts and happy memories still keep us close in touch! Have a Wonderful Christmas Season
OK...Scary. Alright - 1, 2, 3, Go! I'm a scary bat, eek, eek eek, give me some candy or I'll bite some holes in you. Are you scared? No? OK. I am death at your doorstep. I'll get you my pretty. I am 100 years old - that's 700 in dog years. You were playing with the Ouija board and now you must pay! I am not a dog with a sheet, I am an evil ghost. Am I scaring you yet? How 'bout now? I saw you flinch! Boo! Eek! Rawr! Oh man. Mom, you're not making my costumes any more, I can't scare anybody. Wishing you a little fright on Halloween night!
...the star, which they saw in the east, went before them... ...they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him. Mathew 2: 9,11 Wishing you all the blessings of a joyous Christmas
Cant wait for the date its nearly here. Love the mood, love the food at this time of year Need a plan for the clan when they gather near. Soon well dine on Thanksgiving Day! Time to shop, time to chop, time to stuff a bird. Roast and baste, salt to taste, check the temperature. Make the sides, bake the pies, keep the gravy stirred. Soon well dine on Thanksgiving Day. Turkeys done, got to run clean the mess and greet the guests, when they come to the door. Time to eat, find a seat, make a toast to our fine host (and check the football score!) Say the grace, keep the pace time to carve so we dont starve Do you want dark or light? Pass the peas and cranberries Got our eyes on the pies May we please take a bite? Were thankful for all that weve been given yes were thankful that if we overeat well be forgiven Cause thanks-giv-ing comes but once a year to celebrate with those so dear and we must state: That as our waistline expands, were grateful for our stretchy pants. Oh, snap! Were hoping that with all the bloat we dont look like a Macys float! Now its time for a nap. Tooooo-morrow when our coma lifts Its to the mall for Christmas gifts This holiday was off the hook, well worth the time and work it took! and look be sure you dont forget to kiss the cook! tag: However you spend it, hope your Thanksgiving is happy!
More than the tree or the decking the halls, More than the music and mobs at the malls, More than the feasts that are planned and prepared, The family stories remembered and shared . . . More than the lights that will soon disappear, The manger and star that get stored till next year, More than these things which all play a small part, Christmas is love that lives on in each heart. Hoping each wonderful moment of Christmas lives on in your heart long after the holiday season.
The Eight Candles of Chanukah The first candle glows with a wish for the best things in life, the second radiates the love that's in your heart. The third gleams with good luck and success in all you do, the fourth is a beam for friendships that stay with you forever. The fifth candle is a ray of closeness to family, and the sixth shines for good health. The seventh candle flickers for the joy of simple pleasures, and the eighth -- a tiny beacon of peace and happiness. TAG: As the menorah glows with light, may all your eight days of Chanukah be warm and bright with happiness.
