DIY Wrapping Paper Gift Bows
You’ve got wrap and piles of pre-made bows, but for when you want to bring out your inner Etsy, this neat trick for making a bow out of reversible wrap pulls out all the cleverly-crafted stops.
Grab the included template if you need it and follow the easy steps to give your gift a cool couture look.
Supplies
- scissors
- double-sided tape
- reversible wrapping paper
- blank envelope
- downloadable template (if needed)
Step 1: Using your template or freehand, cut out the 2 pieces for your bow: a bikini-shaped piece and a fish tail piece.
Step 2: With the bikini piece face down, put a piece of double-sided tape in the middle.
Step 3: Bring both ends together and secure to the double-sided tape to form the top of your bow.
Step 4: Add a piece of double-sided tape to the center of the fishtail piece.
Step 5: Tape the two pieces of your bow together.
Step 6: Wrap a small strip of wrapping paper around the middle of your bow and secure with a piece of tape to finish.
