Here’s What You'll Need

  • A wrapped gift
  • Grosgrain ribbon
  • Scissors

To start, you’ll need the right amount of grosgrain ribbon. We measured ours by wrapping the ribbon around the width of the package about three and a half times and cutting it. Once you’ve done that, find the middle of the ribbon by joining the two ends.

Fold the ribbon against itself to create an arrow and place it against the gift, using your finger to hold it down.

Take the rest of the ribbon, wrap it around the back of the gift, and pull it through to the other side.

Loop the loose ends through the arrow you made, pulling tightly. It’s okay if it’s not centered; we’ll slide it to the center once our bow is complete.

Tie a knot as tight as you can to hold the ribbon in place, then tie a bow.

Slide the bow to the middle of the gift and cut the ends of the ribbon to your desired length. It’s as simple as that!
